Why doesn't my PRO-Net ID and Password work? It may be that you are not entering the complete numbers. All PRO-Net id #’s are 8 characters long, and usually start with a “PN” or “P0.” For example: “PNxxxxxx” or “P0xxxxxx” in which “P” stands for PRO-Net. Passwords must have 6 or more characters. 3. How do you find out about your PRO-Net id# and Password? You can find out by e-mailing the PRO-Net Helpdesk at pronet@sba.gov Keep in mind that for security reasons, you must provide information that will allow us to verify that you should have access to a PRO-Net record. Such information will include, but not be limited to your exact company name, DUNS #, and/or Federal Tax #. 4. Are CCR TPin #'s & Confirmation #'s the same as PRO-Net ID's and Passwords? No CCR TPIN #’s and Confirmation #‘s are controlled by the U.S. Department of Defense, and PRO-Net ID #’s and PRO-Net Passwords are controlled by the U.S. Small Business Administration. For help with CCR TPIN #’s and Confirmation #’s, call 1-888-227-2423 or e-mail ccr@dlis.dla.mil For help with PRO-Net ID #’s and PRO-Net Passwords, please e-mail pronet@sba.gov 5. Where do I go to update or register my CCR profile? Go to www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. Select NEW for new registrations, or select UPDATE/RENEW for updates. 6. Where do I go to update my SBA PRO-Net profile? Go to pro-net.sba.gov/pronet/signon.html 7. I wanted to change my NAICS Code, mailing address, and/ or company name in PRO-Net, but I was denied the change. What happened? Since the integration of PRO-Net and CCR, some of the data fields contained in PRO-Net are now “controlled” by CCR. For example, all NAICS Codes, Mailing Address, Company Name, etc., must be updated in your CCR Profile in order for them to take effect in your PRO-Net Profile. 8. I have just changed my company name, NAICS codes, and/or mailing address in CCR. Why doesn’t PRO-Net reflect that change immediately? Changes made to CCR data fields do not take effect in PRO-Net for 48 hours, or 2 business days. (This delay is based on the technology we are now using.) If you check your PRO-Net profile the next day or two, the changes you made in CCR the previous day will be there. 9. When I registered in CCR, upon completion, I wasn’t transferred to SBA’s PRO-Net, nor was I given a PRO-Net id# and Password. What happened? This is because in your CCR registration, under the BUSINESS TYPE, you might not have checked “Small Business”. Unless you checked off the word “Small Business,” your record will not be transferred to SBA’s PRO-Net. Note that even if you check “HUBZone,” “8(a) Participant,” or “Small Disadvantaged Business,” in CCR, you must still check “Small Business” for your record to be transferred to PRO-Net 10. I did a search in PRO-Net but my profile does not come up. What’s wrong? Your profile might not be current. All CCR and PRO-Net profiles must be updated annually or they will not appear in the PRO-Net Search Page. Please go back, and be sure that you have updated CCR and PRO-Net records within the last twelve months. You might not have entered your company’s name correctly. We suggest that you enter the first two words of the company name, and omit commas, dashes, “Inc.,” etc. If you were running multiple searches at different times, you might not have cleared the form. It is always a good idea to scroll down the search page and click on the CLEAR FORM button. 11. My PRO-Net profile is up-to-date, yet does not appear in the search results. You probably did not enter your correct company name. Try entering the first two words of the company name and leave off commas, dashes, Inc., etc. Also, be sure you have cleared the search form of any previous search criteria using the CLEAR FORM button at the bottom. 12. When I tried contacting the SBA PRO-Net Helpdesk, it took a long time to get a response? We are still working through some of database issues arising out of the CCR/PRO-Net integration. Therefore, we are dealing with an unprecedented number of questions. With the high volume of questions, we can respond e-mails faster than we can respond to telephone calls.
